Denton’s July Jubilee features live music, two drone shows

Tomorrow is THE DAY, y’all! July Jubilee is almost here. While we hope you’ve already finalized your plans, we’re here for you with all the details if you haven’t quite gotten around to it.

During July Jubilee, celebrate Independence Day at Quakertown Park with patriotic fun and activities for all ages during our Jubilee Festival on July 3 starting at 6 p.m! This free family-friendly event features live music, tasty treats from six different on-site food trucks, inflatables, games, rock climbing, face painting, photo opportunities, hot dog eating contest, and to cap off the evening, two spectacular drone shows at 9:15 and 11:00 pm, presented by Denton Noon Kiwanis!

It is going to be HOT!

It’s going to be hot out there, folks, so it’s extra important to stay hydrated! Refillable water bottles are permitted at July Jubilee, but we’ll also have water stations throughout the event – just in case. The Civic Center will also be open and available for use as a cooling station for anyone that needs a little repreive from the heat!

As an additional (non-heat-related) safety measure – if you’re coming with your family, be sure to grab a child safety ID bracelet from the Denton Police Department booth!

If all else fails, visit www.cityofdenton.com/jubilee for more information. Can’t wait to see you there!
